Thursday!

April 8 * 7 pm. Craft Night: Paper Flower Crafting!

Tacoma Is For Lovers presents Craft Night! Each month features an artist introducing a new craft. The first 1 ½ hours will be devoted to learning the necessary techniques. After which, people can continue working on the activity or work on other projects. This month features Laurie Cinotto teaching paper flower crafting! Laurie will show you how to create several flower designs out of colorful crepe paper. In just an evening you will master the art, and leave with a lovely bouquet of blooms. The $17 fee covers materials (paper, floral tape and wire), plus a small donation to TIFL and King's Books. Please pre-register with sweet pea so that we know how many materials to bring!

Laurie Cinotto is a crafter and craft writer. Her work has been featured in Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine and she’s currently working on a paper flower book/kit for Barnes and Noble. You can find out more about the things she makes at lalalaurie.com.

Tacoma Is For Lovers is a community-based organization which annually produces an Artist Craft Fair which promotes the visibility of local artists and encourages reuse, intentionality, sustainability and high craft.
